The Silton Foundation* is a Domestic Non-Profit Scholarship created by Doug and Nicki Silton in 2014.
Each year The Silton Foundation awards more than $3,000 in grant aid and more than $5,000 in services and awards for dancers on the West Coast of the United States. We currently administer 6 separate funds - two males and two females residing in Oregon/California/Washington and one male and one female residing anywhere in the USA - providing scholarships for partner dance education. We seek to provide aspiring dancers with the opportunity to fulfill their dreams through dance education.
Our funding priorities include:
• enabling access for low-income dancers to a higher dance education
• encouraging skill and knowledge acquisition that can be shared with your community
• recognizing emerging dancers
Qualified students who meet the individual eligibility criteria for the programs listed on the Foundation website may apply.
If you would like to make a donation to The Silton Foundation of grant aid, services, or event tickets / housing / transportation, please contact us.
